Roll 36

Another day, another roll. This shoot was a bit of a challenge for me. I don't shoot much harsh light, but you can't always schedule around the best light.

As always I love to hear in the comment section which shot is your favorite. Don't forget to like and subscribe!

Roll35

This roll is a continuation from roll 34 that I posted last week. I love being able to shoot multiple rolls with the same person and not split a roll between subjects. It's nice to load a roll and know you're going to sit down and shoot the entire roll with the individual in front of you. It's just me, the model, and my camera. I'm only able to click the shutter 36 times, so after each advance i'm searching for the next composition.

Roll34

This roll is among my favorites to date in this series. It was the first time I shot with Ari and also the first time I tried Kodak Portra 800. Not everything is exposed properly, but that what makes film a challenge.

I've always loved contact sheets and in some way this series is like a look into my process of shooting a roll. With only 36 exposures on a roll of film, it's always interesting to see how a photographer changes compositions, metering, and even subjects. You can almost study the thought process of a photographer when viewing their entire rolls.

As always, I'd love to hear which image is your favorite, so feel free to leave a comment below! Don't forget to subscribe for future updates.

Roll33

It's been awhile since a b&w roll showed up on here. When I got back into film I figured I'd primarily shoot b&w, but Kodak Portra has been my go to film. I've shot so much color over the past year, I forgot how amazing b&w film looks.

On another note I recently picked up a Leica M4 black paint! I'm very excited to shoot this along with my M7 and have the opportunity to work with different rolls of film simitanously.

Roll32

I'm finally back! I know! I've said this before, but this time around I'm going to concentrate more on releasing photos from rolls instead of describing them. At least I'll do this until I catch up. If you guys want more details I can answer them in the comment section.

Enjoy this roll of my good friend Abigail!
