I've been wanting to shoot something a bit darker lately. A series of gloom and skin. Something about the human body in nature just captivates me. The vulnerability of being lost amongst nature in our skin has a raw feeling. I chose to edit these in b&w so the body would blend in more with the natural surroundings.
This is Abby and she really made these shots happen. The fog had rolled in, the air was wet, the temperature was dropping, and the light was drifting away, it created the mood I had desired. These are the images we created.
